EVENT
Good Grief:
Living the Love You Thought You Lost
|
PROGRAM
* Personal Development
Learn how to cope with the grief you are experiencing from the loss of a loved one or a major life transition.
Reach past the pain and betrayal of loss, and develop the skills to hold the light, love, and joy with which our relationships and experiences have blessed us. Respond to grief with creative, life-affirming actions. Learn the twin arts of living and losing well through the use of visualization, imagery, dialogue, ritual, journaling, the yoga of surrender and meditation. Metaphorically dance the Dance of Shiva who honors the endless cycle of destruction and creation.
We will bear witness for each other as we weave our losses into the tapestry of our lives. By not turning away from the pain of change and loss, we awaken to the aliveness of the love that cannot die before we do. Drawing from the wisdom of those who have walked this path before us and from our own deep inner resources, we will explore how to access presence as opposed to absence.
Take time out to reflect, connect with spirit, and focus on what nurtures, guides and heals you. As you cope with the pain, discover and awaken to the love that endures.
TUITION: $565 CDN (meals & accommodation extra), 5 nights
The retreat includes a one-hour Hollyhock massage to help nourish the mind and body.

A healing retreat for women - honoring our place in the world,
creating a sacred space, a container, that allows us to uncover and
reveal the timeless bonds we share -- physically, emotionally and
spiritually. GRIEF
WALKING
Building upon timeless traditions of both alone time and ceremony,
the Grief Walking Wilderness Ceremony Experience creates the container
by which grief and loss can be experienced as the life-affirming
event that it must be in order for us to integrate the grief and
become whole once again in the face of loss.
