Dear Friends,

I am greatful to be able to offer individual and group retreats at Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort in San Luis Obispo California. With advance notice , I can accomodate your time frame and incorporate the amenities of this healing mineral spring retreat As you know, we have been committted to answering the ongoing and growing requests from around the world for opportunities to retreat in "safe," healing environment. When we are challenged by profound, and often catastrophic loss,we need to develop resources to weave that loss into our lives without losing the love we hold so dear. Developing those resources takes time and intention. Stepping away from the demands of our ordinary lives and taking the time to do this is often not a luxury, but a necessity! We feel blessed to have found this remarkable enfironment with healing waters, healers, and a staff committed to supporting your journey. I look forward to sharing this time and place with you.

Life is constant change and each breath, each step; each thought moves us and changes where we are physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Most changes go un-acknowledged until something “BIG” happens: A death, a divorce, an illness, a birth, a marriage,  a financial reversal.  Taking the time to be present with any profound change in our lives honors the transition.  We discover that what feels “lost” is not “lost” at all once we take time to weave the change into the fabric of our (new) lives.

Your retreat time at Sycamore will be facilitated by Devorah Coryell, author of Good Grief Healing Through the Shadow of Loss and co-founder of the Shiva Foundation (a non-profit organization dedicated to counseling and education in grief awareness).  Dream-work, yoga, body healing therapies, labyrinth walking, journaling, and quiet time will be incorporated into your retreat.
